At LouCreativa we believe in the power of creativity and the joy it brings to our lives. Recently, I had the pleasure of working on a unique project that perfectly encapsulates this belief. I was commissioned to create a CD cover for a music album titled “The Gate to Beyond – This Life”.

The report was as intriguing as the title itself. The client imagined a Stargate, a portal to a place beyond our world, a metaphorical representation of God’s judgments and the promise of good things to come. The concept was deeply rooted in spirituality, with a nod to the Kingdom era, a time of peace and prosperity according to Christian eschatology.

The design was to be a celebration of ‘This Life’, a tribute to the world we live in and the lives we lead. The client wanted the cover to feature pyramids, a symbol of human ingenuity and resilience, and a starry nebula, a nod to the vastness and mystery of the universe. The colours of the rainbow were to be incorporated, which signified God’s covenant with humanity.

The challenge was to bring these various elements together into a harmonious design that did justice to the deep theme of the album. I created a design that was a perfect combination of the earthly and the ethereal. The Stargate, against the backdrop of the pyramids, opened onto a starry nebula, with the colours and lights adding vibrancy to the scene. The twinkling stars added a touch of magic, making the design truly out of this world.

The client was delighted with the final design. It was a testament to our commitment to understanding our client’s vision and translating it into a design that resonates with their audience. This project was a reminder of why we do what we do at LouCreativa. It was a celebration of creativity, a testament to the power of design and a reaffirmation of our belief in the joy of creation.
